As you all may know, the DA portion of Dreyrull is down. All the images that were tied to Stryde's account have gone into storage. Over the next few weeks we'll be updating that, so all Aershaa can be seen on the site. Pardon our dust!

Orb // Newborn // Pup

Name: Nestokilee
Gender: Female
Approximate Age: 9 weeks
Location: Hasseran

Pack: ----
Rank: ----

Race: Stonefire-Light
Type: Wingless Mizpup
Class: Wild
Parents: Raer x Feros
Siblings: Aylu'in, Ashira, Rasha, Ferdoga

Personality: She's a little sweetheart who is definitely daddy's little girl. She always has to find the fun in everything and enjoys bringing smiles to other's faces. Though she is often seen as naive, she's quite smart, paying attention to detail with whatever might come her way. She asks a lot of questions, but she's very inquisitive and wants to know as much about the world as possible before she eventually has to go out into it. She tries to find the good in everyone almost to the point where she denies that the bad exists.

History: Nestokilee had been up early that morning. Her siblings were all snoring and breathing loudly, along with her father, and she just couldn't sleep. She had tried curling up to her mother, but she found it uncomfortable to lie against a bunch of scales, so she had gotten up and walked just outside the opening of the den. The moons were high in the sky and the hints of morning were starting to creep up the horizon, coloring the landscape with color and the sky with light blues and greens. She sighed, thinking of how the sun would soon rise above the horizon of the water and how S'feena would once again rule the morning.

Though her parents weren't very religious, she had heard mention from her mother about Draiah and the ever-collective presence of the Drey goddess, but she had also heard small tales of S'feena and the battle the sun goddess had with Khan, the creator of the world. Nestokilee found the history of the tales to be extremely fascinating. She wanted to learn as much as possible about the world, and she knew that what she knew was just the very tip of the iceberg. She was so young and had so long to go for life that she wanted to soak up as much information as possible.

Looking back into the den and making sure that all of her family was asleep, Nestokilee slowly and quietly made her way down the small hill and onto the beach. They had lived closed to the ocean due to her mother often wanting to return to it for daily swims, but she never really understood why it was so fascinating, other than the sea dragons that her mother had come to represent.

"Nestokilee?" The pup jumped, twirling fast on her paws to look up at the one who had spoke: it was her mother.

She sighed with relief, and smiled hesitantly up at her. "Hi, mom." Raer smiled and nuzzled her briefly before sitting next to her, the sand cool on both of their bottoms. It was chilly next to the ocean with the breeze rolling off of it along with the waves.

"What brought you out here, sweetie?" Raer asked, looking down at her daughter with a smile on her face. Nestokilee hesitated; even she wasn't sure why she was out here. "Couldn't sleep?" The little pup shook her head and Raer chuckled. "Neither could I. Your father is so loud." The both chuckled before looking back out toward the horizon.

"Mom," Nestokilee said, still looking out to the horizon. Raer looked down at her again. "Is it true about S'feena and Khan and Draiah and Listhrea?" She looked up at her mom in almost a worried gaze. "Do they really fight each other and try to beat each other all the time?"

Raer smiled, knowing how inquisitive her daughter was, before looking back out to the horizon, the very tips of the sun making its way above the line. "I think that it makes for a fantastic story, and if that is what you want to believe, sweetie, then believe it fully in your heart." She bumped Nestokilee with her leg in a silly gesture. Nestokilee giggled. "It's not right or wrong to believe in something, or in one deity, so don't feel that you're right or wrong. Khan and S'feena battled, and continue to battle, to gain control of the sky, and Draiah lives in all of us, and Listhrea has her own place in the floating isles in the sky. It's all a matter of perspective and how you want to look at the world."

Nestokilee nodded and leaned against her mother, the tiredness slowly overcoming her. "Thanks, mom." She smiled and closed her eyes as the sun broke over the horizon: a new victory for S'feena.
