Update: The new Site Map is finished. --------------------------------------------------- As you all may know, the DA portion of Dreyrull is down. All the images that were tied to Stryde's account have gone into storage. Over the next few weeks we'll be updating that, so all Aershaa can be seen on the site. Pardon our dust! --------------------------------------------------- An adoption bazaar containing 9 characters is now open in the Den of the Ancients ------------------------------------------------------- |

Name: Throskahrr Gender: Male Approximate Age: 27 years Region: Siyari Pack/Village: N/A Rank: N/A Race: Furr Breed/Species: Fel Type/Occupation: Tundra Class: Survivalist/Hunter Mage Class / Element: Runecasting: Trapsetting (Beginner/Casual) Physical Appearance: "Some find beauty in the light. Some in the Darkness. I find beauty in the ability to live." Roughly 4'5 in height and thickly muscled, Throskahrr is a mini tank of a Fel. The way his fur - white with mottled spots of greys, browns, and black - rolls and fluffs out over his form makes him seem larger than he truly is. However, that does nothing but compliment the strength underneath; as living in the Northern Regions of Siyari, surviving off of pure protein and omegas, has made him into a bestial creature and force to be reckoned with. His muzzle resembles that of a "roman" man housing large nasal passages to gather in the most oxygen. His eyes, large but often squinted -a habit learned from the bright days on ice and snow - are a dark chocolate brown and nearly black. Paired with his almost perpetual scowl (though he can't quite help that's how his jowls are shaped) Throskahrr holds a fairly menacing appearance most of the time. Whether this is intended or not even he isn't entirely sure. His attire consists of a loincloth and a "utility" belt of sorts, along with a sling for his bow and quiver, and a small satchel. He finds the minimalist approach makes moving more fluid and stealth more attainable, and his long thick fur is good enough insulation that coverage by clothing is not needed nor appreciated. The only "useless" accessory he has is a necklace made of feathers, claws, teeth, and a critter skull, which he admit has no practical use and is just for show. Otherwise, he always carries his bow, quiver, spear, and hatchet which were all hand-crafted in a "native american" type style. Also of note: He has many scars littered around under his fur. Two in particular are noticeable: a gash on his left side so thick and corded that it inhabited fur growth, and a noticeable claw mark across his muzzle, from right brow to the left side of the bridge. This causes his right eyelid to sag slightly, though it goes generally unnoticed due to the squinting. Any references?: http://i58.tinypic.com/bjj2oy.jpg - So far. Sketches are mine, screenshots are a mockup I did on Elderscrolls Online. The sketch headshot is more accurate, the screenies are just for a general jist of what he looks like. I'll make real art eventually. Personality: (I'm going to build this with the bullets on the Creation Guide, since it seems a bit more organized than any gibberish I can throw into a paragraph or two like above) "I am not a complicated creature. What you feel is, most likely, what is true." Base Trait: Seriousness. Throskahrr takes everything seriously, sometimes a bit too much. Therefore, it's difficult to joke with him, and most types of humor go right over his head. Sarcasm will probably get you hurt. Supportive Trait: Focus. The ability to have a task, or list of tasks in mind and complete them with unwavering devotion. Most of this is put into pure survival from day to day. Fatal Trait: Pride. He does often does not know when to give up, even if it puts himself in danger. Any challenge he accepts, no matter the cost, though there are times he overestimates his abilities. Hidden Trait: Generosity. Let's be honest, Throskahrr looks like the kind of Furr no one wants to be around, and generally he's liked it that way. The less people to bother and distract him, the better. However, whenever he stops in a town to trade meat and furs, the poor and poverty stricken sometimes find a parcel mysteriously left on their doorsteps. It's unknown whether or not he would show this trait directly or publicly, but he cares deeply for those who are not fortunate enough to survive as he is. Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Throskahrr isn't one of those brutish characters that secretly have a soft side and want to be loved, but he does have a heart. His softness towards the less fortunate stems from the idea he isn't totally cold and cruel, not because he wants to impress anyone or make friends. For the sake of roleplay, he will find ways to interact appropriately, but it can be foreshadowed that unless a miracle happens, he won't grow closer than acquaintance with anyone. His way of life simply doesn't have room for that kind of baggage. History:"If my life were special I would be known throughout Dreyrull. Yet, sometimes I forget my own name." Until the age of 15 and Thros was able to venture out on his own, his life was indeed nothing special. His family was small and nomadic, traversing the northern tundra of Siyari hunting and trapping for meat and furs like Throskahrr does now. Life in a group did not suit him, so he departed quickly as possible. Having been over 10 years since the alienation of his family, it can be imagined he's seen them be it traveling in the north or at trade towns in the south, sometimes to be acquainted with a new brother or sister, but never thinking twice about the decision he made. Throskahrr's life is simple, filled with simple pleasures like napping in conifers or on high rocks, setting the occasional paralyzing rune trap (which he learned from his father and barely uses. What fun is hunting when your prey doesn't move?) and shooting small game with his bow and arrow. Living like he does, Throskahrr has no need for currency, and only hunts for trade when he needs a good or service he can't provide for himself. Otherwise, his days are filled with nomadic wandering. Siyari is large and the tundra is considerably untouched, so often he'll just pick a direction and walk for weeks to see what can be found.
