![]() Newborn // Youngling Name: Galaxy Dancer Gender: Female Approximate Age: 1 year Region: Sereven, Sundast Pack: Under the Canopy Rank: Pup Breed: Draian Type: Normal Class: Wild Parents: Spotted Coat and Rain Chaser Siblings: Sparks Fly and Wandering Heart Personality: She's super easy going and willing to take the lead in any situation that comes up. She's a natural-born leader with an eye for knowing talent, taking charge and assigning roles to others during playtime. Galaxy enjoys being the leader, but that's not to say that she doesn't have some faults in being one: sometimes she can become overbearing and turn mean without meaning to, causing others to think that she's egotistical and rude. This can sometimes hurt her feelings, but she oftentimes just shakes it off and takes a step back, allowing others to talk about their own opinions and take charge when the situation becomes heated. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't, but she tries to keep smiling regardless. A hidden trait she has is that she can use the stars to foretell of events to come. She has the hidden ability of a Seer, though she doesn't share it with her family in fear of being looked at as a weirdo. History: It had been a long, long day. The sun felt like it had been beating down on her personally, and she had no idea why. But now that the night was slowly creeping in, and the two moons started to rise above the horizon, Galaxy Dancer felt that she could start to come alive. She smiled at the moons rising, at the dark sky that followed like a painted canvas becoming washed in color, and how the sun painted its own colors on the opposite side, coloring the sky in pinks and golds. Galaxy jumped, squeaking in joy, as she raced down the pathway from the den where her family resided to the hilltop that lay just above them. It reached out above the trees just far enough that she could see the stars without any hindrance. Once she was up there, she slowed and came to a stop at the edge, her toes just dangling over as she clutched the rim, looking at the night sky. There were so many stars that filled the sky and it made her wonder just how many there were and why they were up there. Though she didn't fully believe the stories her mother told her about the gods causing the changing of the days, she knew there was a reason that they were up there - and she wanted to find out. Closing her eyes, Galaxy took a few deep breaths in, calming herself. When she opened them she saw the stars twinkling unlike before, their colors illuminating the sky in a different fashion: some were green, blue, and purple, while others were red, yellow, and orange. She had indicated herself that those that were the hotter colors were those with great strength, those of the plains and the deserts and fields. They were the larger breeds that dominated the Drey, while those painted in the cooler colors were the smaller, not necessarily weaker, breeds of the Drey. They all illuminated the sky in a great color explosion, and Galaxy could see that there were some that were bigger than the others. She looked toward the eastern part of the sky, where her family's stars resided: two larger purple stars with three smaller ones dancing behind them. She smiled and looked around, slowly, at the other stars. They all burned with their own intensity - some brighter than others - and wondered if she'd see one going out tonight. The thought made her frown as she didn't like seeing when that happened as it meant that someone had died, but she also knew that that was just a fact of life and it had to be accepted. Looking toward the northern part of the sky she saw one bright white star shining above. This star was always constant and it made her wonder if there was something that was attached to that star, if there was some significance as to why it was so white and bright. Maybe she'd find out one day, and with that thought she smiled, knowing full well that she would. She didn't know how or when or where, but she would one day find out the mystery behind that star. Closing her eyes she breathed a few times before looking back up at the stars. They were back to normal, twinkling in the nighttime, casting their own glows over the drey, no matter how dim. She took one last look before she ran back to the den and jumped onto her brother, laughing the whole time, back to her normal, goofy self. RP Color: black |
