![]() Name: Sea gleam Approximate Age:: 526 Breed: Light Type: Shifted Class: Wild Physical Description: Region: Siyari Personality: Sea gleam is adventurous, and some would say reckless. He could also be considered a goof as he will say or do odd things. It also seems as if he has a short attention span as he will wander from one interesting matter to another. He is rather, just as alert as any other aershaa as he does this. He is a helpful aer however; and enjoys doing what he can to help. When it comes to fighting, Sea gleam can defend himself but he doesn't like fighting seriously, preferring to jump about and phase through attacks. Back story: As a pup Sea gleam was always asking questions and exploring the land around his parent's den especially if his older brother was around. His parents were extremely religious, to the point that they were almost hunting moonborn and they raised Sea gleam to be the same way. At Elzeron's call against the believers of Khan Sea gleam was one of the first to step forward for the cause. Little did he know how horrible war truly was. He fought against the moonborn, defending his beliefs and proving just how more mighty S'feena was over Khan. He shifted to be a better fighter, always on the lookout for a way to improve; the musculature of a stone, the tail blades of an air whatever he could think of to make him a better defender of S'feena's ways. His fanaticism made him blind to the suffering the war, and to a smaller extent he as well, was causing. During a battle one day, Sea gleam's mother became tricked by a dark into thinking she couldn't phase and was trapped by a stone. Sea gleam rushed to help her but he didn't get to her in time and she was killed by the two moonborn. He flew into a rage, fighting all moonborn that he came across. It was exhaustion that finally brought him down. Sea gleam's father took his mate's death in stride, claiming that it was the will of S'feena but Sea gleam was starting to doubt. If S'feena was so mighty, why would she let her chosen ones be killed? If she was created by Khan to be the balance between his worshipers, why had she commanded her creations to kill all moonborn? How would that bring balance? The answers his father gave were weak and hardly justified the wanton destruction that all the aershaa were placing upon each other. Though doubtful of S'feena, Sea gleam continued to fight; if only to protect himself and his family. Doubt plagued Sea gleam and it begun to wear on him. Eventually his days and his nights were both plagued by visions of death and he began to believe that S'feena and Khan had never existed to begin with. About 100 cycles after the start of the war, Sea gleam's brother told him of their father's death. There was denial at first, there was no way S'feena could let one of her most loyal die. But his other doubts whittled away his denial and slowly it turned into grief. Sea gleam grieved over his parents, over his kin, over the fact that there truly was no S'feena. It consumed him to the point he couldn't fight, couldn't eat. His brother took care of him then, keeping him safe from other aershaa and making him eat. He talked Sea gleam out of his stupor and generally back to being a normal aershaa. Though Sea gleam wasn't without his scars. Frequently he ends up dreaming about the war and occasionally something he sees will bring back memories, driving the aershaa back into grief filled depression. "I'm going go to Siyari." Sea gleam said suddenly as he and his brother were exploring what was left of the Urvaz swamp. "What?" his brother looked over at him. He was up in a tree, keeping his fur clean while Sea gleam rolled around in the muck. He shook his head, Sea gleam always had to roll in something. "I said, I'm going to go to Siyari. I'm bored with this place, this continent." He stopped rolling in the mud but he continued to lay there. Mud dripped down from his paws on to his chest. His brother sighed. "How are you even going to get there? I'm sure you won't be able to just fly across the water." Sea gleam made a thinking sound and was quiet for a while before jumping to his feet. "I know!" he exclaimed as his brother tried to flee from the mud that had been aerially displaced. "Sundast is close to here. I can fly over to there, and then take a Greelu to Hasseran. From there I can travel to Siyari." He smiled at his brother who frowned. “I should never have let you talk to that traveling furr." |
